I've got a lovely box of chocolates, I didn't dare open them to take a picture in the daylight or the kids would have tried to eat one. These are my birthday chocolates from my Mom. She sent a big box of goodies today which is almost like Christmas. The ladies at the Post Office all know if a package is from Grandma as it is covered in funny pictures and comics. This box had "Eagle River" candy for me and the kids too. Plus Easter outfits for the kids, they will all look gorgeous in their new Off Island Easter outfits.

Day 93
What a busy, crazy day! This weekend just flew by, which was great since Aaron was at work. I actually didn't even touch my camera today, but the boys were shooting away. So, I was forced to go check out there cameras for some pictures. April showers are doing their job, melting snow and filling salmon streams. Rain away! It's beautifully predictable.

Day 92

The amount of good lighting today for any kind of photo was a big fat zero. It rained and rained and the wind blew. We did need some rain (seriously, I know) and it hopefully washed all the mud away and started to melt some of our lasting snow piles. Spring is right around the corner.

This beautiful piece of new furniture is a small piece of church history. Our church has been growing! We recently switched over to a padded chair that allows us to seat more people. No other churches were in need of pews so the church gave away all the old pews to anyone in the church who wanted one. Of course the pews were much longer than this and wouldn't fit in a house really so some of them were cut up and resized. We were able to get a hold of one of the last ones and now we have a piece of church at home. I was thinking the other day about all the prayers, sermons, hymns and praise songs that are embedded in the worn out pew.
