I have to admit I was really not happy with the picture I took for day 159 and so both of these pictures are actually from today. We took a great walk along the Wildflower Trail at Ft. Abercrombie this evening. The flowers are already starting to bloom.

Hey a picture of me!Funny thing about this picture, aside from the expression, is that I was able to tell Aaron how to change the ISO and set the shutter speed while buttering the garlic bread. I am slowly closer to the point where I can pick up my camera and have a general idea of where to start with my settings.

Day 153
After two gorgeous days of sunshine no one could believe that there was bad weather brewing. However, in true Kodiak style the wind started picking up and this pretty little weather front started moving in fast. Most of our weather seems to blow in from this side of the Island closest to the house. I went down and caught a picture just before it was right on top of us. It's supposed to blow 25 and rain up to half an inch tomorrow.
