You know you are in Kodiak when.....

Day 167
You think wild bunnies are super cute. I just wish I could catch a picture of the actual bunny instead of just his prints. We saw the bunny chewing on some grass and also saw the deer tracks and road kill remnants.

You think pushki is worth photographing. Course this was with my phone at 9pm but what the heck. You know we do get serious pushki here, but it's pretty much all over AK this stuff is crazy. I admit I kind of like the smell of it too. And we never called it pushki until we moved here. On the mainland its called "devil's club" which is way more menacing. Pushki sounds like something you do to your little brother when they are driving you crazy.

I know this picture is terribly uninteresting. I actually didn't even take it. I did however advise Aaron on how to take while I sat on the couch and played on one the kids' DSI games thingies. I bet you can guess what it is a picture of!

I really didn't want this to be my picture today. But this is a true Kodiak day, fog so thick it makes you feel like your wrapped up in a great big cotton ball. Somewhere out there is a runway.

Day 161
Kind of a ho hum day around here. Well, sort of..we had a swimming lesson, the kids are doing great. We wrote our own comic books, and I finally was able to nail down all of the VBS crafts. That was a craft each night for 100+ kids. Everything is ordered I just need to get it all put together and organize. Thankfully I have peeps for that!
