The longest day of the year this picture was taken about 8:30 at night, and what a gorgeous day it has been! Beautiful sunny and warm. As a note of fashion advice from Peach. A tutu is a perfectly acceptable ensemble if ever you decided to roast a marshmallow and jump a across a pond on a made by kids bridge. Just tuck it inside your britches! and the best part is the sun will be up at least another 6 hours!

A great Father's Day picnic at the park. Aaron played several games of baseball with all the boys.

The current state of my bathroom. We have several house projects going on right now. The rain has kept us from finishing up the outside ones, so we are inside giving the bathrooms a long overdue facelift.

You know you are in Kodiak when.....

You think wild bunnies are super cute. I just wish I could catch a picture of the actual bunny instead of just his prints. We saw the bunny chewing on some grass and also saw the deer tracks and road kill remnants.

You think pushki is worth photographing. Course this was with my phone at 9pm but what the heck. You know we do get serious pushki here, but it's pretty much all over AK this stuff is crazy. I admit I kind of like the smell of it too. And we never called it pushki until we moved here. On the mainland its called "devil's club" which is way more menacing. Pushki sounds like something you do to your little brother when they are driving you crazy.
