I have been playing around with the camera settings on my digital SLR. I figured I should learn how to use it in manual mode before I purchase a new one. I was really happy with the results and can't wait to learn more. I just wish we had better lighting right now, its been cold and gray for days.

15 & 16 of 365

Well yesterday was a BUSY day! I took the picture for the day but didn't get to post it. Day 15 is my new color I had done on Saturday. Still purple but I toned down the blonde with some highlights and lowlights. I LOVE it!

We have had lots of snow this year. We had a few warm days and lost all of our Christmas snow but its BACK! The kids have been having a blast playing in the new snow

Eli won the Spelling Bee! He is headed to the district wide Bee against Elementary and Middle Schoolers next Thursday. We are so proud of him. His very good friend Ize is going as well, each school sends two kids. It was a great day for him and we are very proud!

This my followers is what is called Distance Education via the Center for Rural and Community Development in Fairbanks, AK. Notice the postage paid envelopes and the lesson cover sheets. That's right people I get to print out my lessons and mail them to the instructor, who will grade them and mail them back to me. Silly people there is an easier way, Technology for All!

Now this is a little ridiculous! Easter candy in January? Right next to the Valentine candy and the discounted Christmas candy. Now as soon as they get these little babies in I will one happy chick!
